While we serve the automotive industry today, our origins lie elsewhere!

In 1993, a recently-liberalised India opened itself and its economy up to the world, and many sectors were poised to take off. We started our journey in that year as a small factory in North India, manufacturing custom-built wire assemblies for the nascent IT hardware and telecom industry.

Over time, our focus shifted to the import and distribution of electronic components to meet the growing demands of an emerging electronics industry in India. Very soon, Enerdyne was representing some of world’s leading manufacturers of connectors, circuit protection components, power semiconductor devices and other electro-mechanical and passive electronic components in India. We honed our chops in that era - being a bridge between global technology and the Indian market, providing a full-service stack, enabling manufacturers to stay cost-effective. These skills would be valuable in our next, and most important, evolution.

In 2004, sensing a burgeoning demand for mobility among Indian citizens and businesses, we forayed into automotive components. We struck agreements with leading global fuse manufacturers from Japan and Taiwan, and in a few years would start selling connectors as well. The 20-odd years later would see our network of customer relationships, markets and product portfolio expand. What was once a single, small factory had now developed a pan-India presence, growing many times over.

Today, Enerdyne is a well-diversified enterprise with multiple locations and business divisions, serving some of the biggest wire harness manufacturers and OEM companies with a well-honed, pan India sales network and deep customer empathy.

Our story is far from done. We recently incubated a digital business vertical, and are setting up our first local manufacturing unit.

We thank our partners who have been our allies, the customers who have given us the opportunity to serve them, the employees who have made us what we are, and the community we constantly strive to give back to.
